Harrisville Utah
Growing up in Ogden Utah, I was just a few minutes away from the beautiful city Harrisville. I always loved the area, nothing but nice quiet people that just did their own thing. That city has made some strong core memories for myself with friends and family.
A little history
Harrisville is a city located in Weber County, Utah. The pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley in 1847, just 3 years later (1850) Urban Stewart built the first house in what was soon to be called, Harrisville. It then continued to get built on by his fellow settlers. In 1858 the city was abandoned because of some issues between the pioneers and native americans, but the settlers returned to their home that fall when problems were peacefully resolved. As the years and years went on Harrisville has became a beautiful, strong, safe city for families to move into.
Things to do
Harrisville is a great city for families to get together and enjoy the day/night out doing something fun. There are indoor and outdoor activities to do such as golfing, go carting, escape rooms, swimming, fishing, shooting ranges and so much more. If you love the outdoors, just a few minutes away there are the North Ogden and Ogden Canyons leading to amazing mountains with so many things to do like…
